Click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
On your keyboard, press the Win key and X key simultaneously, then select Programs and Features from the menu that appears.
Ensure that Apps & features is selected in the left panel, then click either AVG Protection (this represents your AVG AntiVirus application) or AVG PC TuneUp, and select Uninstall.
Right-click the Windows Start button and select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
Ensure no other application is running on your PC.
